Amazing news!! This time, Hussam put together the biggest round of packages for the people of the camp and surrounding areas! He and his team put together 350 packages of veggies, each with 10 kilos of assorted vegetables, and to pair with that he also distributed 350 cans of feta cheese!

For Eid, Hussam hired some entertainers and bought some chocolate, biscuits, and flavored milk to put into a goodie bag to help bring a bit of joy to Rafah camp children.
He managed to put together 200 goodie bags for the kids, which you can see being put together in the video! After that, they gathered all the children to enjoy a celebration with music and dancing while also hiring entertainers to help them out.
The kids loved it! Thanks to your donations, you helped put a smile on these children’s faces, yet again!

With your donations, Hussam was able to send another $5000 to help Mahmoud Abu Salama's team to buy food for families in North Gaza (Jabalia)! This is part of Hussam's commitment to lend a hand to the northern part of Gaza. These grassroots efforts has been very helpful to families, filling in the gaps in what governments failed to do.
Hussam managed to secure and buy 100 frozen 1.3kg chicken to the camps on his land and will work on another chicken run for the next camp! Also, food cans are always available to everyone who needs them. But Hussams team managed to distribute 1000 can 2 days ago. And! Diapers when available are also purchased and distributed on the spot to those who needs them.

Hussam managed to buy vegetables for the people in Rafah camps on his lands, and he distributed bags ful of a variety of veggies to all the families!
They bought tomatoes, eggplants, potatoes, cucumbers, lemons, and jalapeno to make a hundred packages of food to distribute.
Today, Hussam distributed diapers for families with babies, which is an ongoing task. Hussam is constantly providing a variety of items besides food to the families in Rafah on a daily basis.

Hussam distributed food cans today! These included luncheon canned meat, hummus, beans, and peas. He never says no to any person who requests food especially if they’re from outside his camp, especially new refugees.
Next he’s planning on buying and distributing vegetables!

Today starts the Month of Ramadan around the world, a month for fasting and religiosity for all Muslims. Hussam started a new goal of $50k for the month, which he will be using to provide necessities to more than 6000 refugees living in tents on his land. We will let you know what he plans specifically in the coming days.

Hussam and his team put together a joyful event for the kids in Rafah camps and wanted to share it with all of us here on Tumblr! This included games, songs, competitions, and face painting all of which the kids adored, and even the adults joined in on the good times. They were beyond happy to see their little ones having fun!
Thanks thank you so much everyone for supporting Hussam's efforts in Rafah, as you can see you're bringing a bit of joy to children's lives. Hussam said everyone was on cloud nine with the amount of fun they were having.

After 2 weeks of looking, Hussam managed to secure 500 blankets for the residents of the camp! The nights are quite cold in Gaza, especially as they live in tents, so these will go a long way in helping people stay warm!

This time, Hussam bought 350 coloring books and packs of colors for the children of the camp!

In this latest update, Hussam distributed the food packages to the residents in the camp after including cheese in them. In addition to that, he focused on providing diapers for those with twin babies, which he already bought an distributed!
Hussam spent the last few days sourcing food for everyone in the camp, and this is what he managed to find! All that’s left for him is to find cheese to add to the food packages, and after that he will be sending them out to everyone.

He also plans on buying food packages for each family. Each day, the prices change. As of yesterday (Feb 16th), it cost $33.
He will shop for the food containers after he buys 500 blankets to the new camps.

Thanks to your donations, Hussam was able to buy toys for refugee children! In fact, the kids were so excited that even the older kids got a little jealous and Hussam was able to make a second run to get toys for them as well!
